Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (Temp to Perm)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician for an ongoing opportunity in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This position starts as a temporary assignment with the potential for full-time employment after 16 weeks. Pay rate is up to $35-45/hr, depending on experience, with the possibility of increasing to $75/hr for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled HVAC maintenance and repairs to ensure peak system performance.
• Use diagnostic equipment to assess HVAC system performance and operational data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC issues while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Suggest solutions and improvements for repairs that enhance customer satisfaction.
• Work safely and adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with both customers and coworkers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC commercial and residential systems.
• Ability to work in diverse conditions including exposure to noisy equipment and extreme weather.
• Must have valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience mentoring junior technicians.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of HVAC technical school certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
